Yule

Under the Green Desk Lamp…

There are lights hanging in trees, and the gentle sound of bells is everywhere. The ground is caked in thick, crunching snow, and the cold in the air can freeze the flesh.

In each house and every bar, parties are going on—people celebrating festivals, religious happenings, and the changing of the calendar.

Folk bustle about utterly convinced of their own importance, shouldering through busy crowds and sighing at anyone who might slow their urgent progress.

At random intervals, groups stand in circles and sing songs about happy times, or squalling infants.

Gifts are given.

Such is the season.

Merry Christmas, ya Filthy Animals

If anyone is reading this today, just what the hell are you doing? It’s Christmas, for heaven’s sake. Go drink some eggnog, or hug a loved one. Maybe open a present, or suck a candycane, or something.

If those alternatives don’t suffice though, we’re happy to have you, as always.

I want to wish a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all the readers of this blog.

Keep your eyes peeled, cause we here at Brad OH Inc. are hoping to have some great surprises for you early in the New Year.

Until then,

New Year, New(ish) Plans

Well, 2020 is upon us, and I’m told there is a joke to be made about hindsight. But here at Brad OH Inc., looking back is not the modus operandi—I only look forward. I look forward to what’s to come, new projects, new approaches, and more than anything, I look forward to rocking your socks with a whole new year of words, witticisms, and more than likely a few wastes of time.

This year, I’m changing things up, and doing this blog a little bit differently.  As suggested in the final post from last year, I’ll be moving away from the weekly post format in favor of priority-based posting. What that means—to be clear—is that I’ll be posting when I have something I’m certain is worth sharing. I don’t want to create for creation’s sake. After all, that’s the approach of an egotistical and dogmatic God, and to claim such a role would be far from the humility I strive for.

I’ll post when the inspiration strikes, which I certainly hope will be often enough. In the meantime, have no fear, for there is no shortage of projects in the works, and I’ll keep you all updated on all of them. Just this month, I have three different short stories I’m working on finishing up and submitting to various contests and publications.

On top of that, work continues on two separate novels, as well as the previously mentioned Gentleman Juggalo podcast.

So far, it’s shaping up to be a pretty exciting year, and there are some other plans I hope to share with you all soon. As always, if there’s anything you’d like covered here on Bad OH Inc., or if you have any questions, please feel free to reach me in the comments, or to contact me directly by clicking here.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

The time has come again—each year passes faster it seems. With the holiday season upon us, it’s time for this writer to head home for good food and even better company with loved ones. I hope you’re all doing the same.

I’ll be taking next week off, but will be back with my regular postings on Jan. 6th.

I wish everyone a wonderful holiday—whatever you celebrate—and look forward to more great times next year.

Best,

-Brad OH Inc.
